The Hotel
Immerse yourself in the more than one hundred year old history of the Gstaad Palace: the luxury hotel in Switzerland opened its doors on 8 December 1913. Successfully: it was decided to build an extension after the first season. In the 1960's gala dinners with international stars such as Louis Armstrong and Marlene Dietrich cause a great sensation. Andrea Scherz is the third generation now to manage the hotel.
The warm, country-chic rooms and suites offer free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs. Upgraded rooms add mountain views and/or seating areas, while suites feature separate living areas, whirlpool baths and/or multiple balconies.
Eclectic dining options include an elegant international restaurant, plus a cigar lounge and a nightclub. There's also an indoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool, as well as a spa with a gym, a pilates studio and a hammam.

Visit “Gildo’s Ristorante” for Italian cooking. Select internationally renowned chefs prepare authentic Italian dishes here. The restaurant was named after our Maître d’hôtel Gildo Bocchini, who has been one of the hosts at the Palace since the 1960s. Buon appetito!
La Fromagerie
